The Bible speaks of a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof in II Timothy 3:5. I came up in a Pentecostal church and we preached and practiced the Baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gave the utterance and yet so many protestant churches deny this experience. How can they? And why would they?
The Word says that you will receive power after this experience and we all know that you can take scriptures and twist them to prove your point. So what is happening and it is sad to say that most all the Pentecostals have just given up and are joining the crowd and joining the ranks of the nominal churches. So many say that being baptized by the Holy Ghost was just for the day of Pentecost. That makes no sense to me. No sense at all!
Anything that wonderful, that good and that powerful would not just have been given to 120 people. No way! Hosea as we say! Well, just suppose that is true then why was it that Apostle Paul was still preaching and teaching the Baptism of the Holy Ghost long after the day of Pentecost.
According to a biblical timeline about 26 years after the day of Pentecost, Apostle Paul met some men that were saved and Paul questioned them and they had never even heard of the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. They had been water baptized which compared to the Holy Power Baptism it is nothing but a symbolic gesture, and yet so many put such great emphasis on water baptism.
Be baptized and join the church and don’t worry about it, because no sin can take you to hell. Boy, if that ain’t a wheel horse of a deal if I have ever heard of one.
Now, Paul laid hands on them and they received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost and spoke in unknown tongues. Now mind you. These men were already saved. So, no! Absolutely not! You don’t automatically get the Baptism of the Holy Ghost when you get saved. And by the way just repeating after the preacher, “I believe,” don’t mean you are saved.
Even the demons believe! It’s like the scriptures. Even the devil knows the scriptures but that don’t make him a Christian. So many don’t care what they tell folks just as long as they can fill up the church. Well, that is not Jesus’ way and that is not how Apostle Paul and Peter did. They told folks the truth.
Turn your television on. None, but none of these television preachers even mention the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. No wonder the church world don’t see miracles and is getting weaker and weaker. And all these sugar kiss preachers talk about is finance. One the other day was lying dead ahead. Telling those poor folk that if they gave him $273.00 their debts would be canceled.
Boy, if you believe that then I got some beach front property to sell you in Arizona.
What he meant was that it will help him cancel his debts. Do not be fooled! Study the Word and turn back to God. Turn back to the old paths. Receive the Baptism of the Holy Ghost. It will make you a greater more powerful witness and will give you spiritual insight to avoid these wolves in sheep’s clothing and it will give you power to stand against the fiery darts of satan.

Enciende tu televisión. Ninguno, absolutamente ninguno de estos predicadores de televisión menciona el bautismo del Espíritu Santo. No es de extrañar que el mundo cristiano no vea milagros y esté cada vez más débil. Y todo lo que estos predicadores complacientes hablan es de dinero. Uno el otro día estaba diciendo descaradamente que si la gente le daba $273.00, sus deudas serían canceladas.
Si crees eso, entonces tengo una propiedad frente al mar para venderte en Arizona.

Esto te hará un testigo más fuerte y poderoso, y te dará discernimiento espiritual para evitar a estos lobos vestidos de ovejas, y te dará poder para resistir los dardos de fuego de Satanás.
