Dear Friend,

As I’ve traveled across South Georgia these past months, one theme keeps coming up in nearly every conversation — people are tired of politics that serve themselves instead of the public. Voters want transparency, accountability, and common sense restored to their state government.

Our state has faced challenges recently — from the slow recovery of Hurricane Helene funds, to rising insurance premiums, to questions about how state contracts are awarded. Many Georgians I speak with tell me the same thing: “We just want to know what’s going on and where our money’s going.” I couldn’t agree more.

Every dollar that flows through Atlanta comes from hard-working Georgians — from the farmers in Atkinson County, to the small business owners in Lanier County, to the teachers and first responders who keep our communities strong. Those dollars must be respected, not hidden behind closed doors.

That’s why I support several key reforms to restore confidence in government:

• Public access to spending data so every taxpayer can easily see how funds are being used.
• Tightened conflict-of-interest rules for state agencies and contractors.
• Stronger disclosure requirements for elected officials, including mandatory reporting of outside income and gifts.
• Increased rural representation on statewide boards and commissions so that South Georgia isn’t left out of key decisions.

When citizens can see clearly what their leaders are doing, accountability naturally follows. That’s how we build trust again — not with slogans or headlines, but through open books, honest communication, and results people can measure.

As your next State Representative, I will work every day to make government more transparent and responsive to the people it serves. I’ll listen, I’ll answer questions directly, and I’ll always remember who I work for — the people of South Georgia.
