HELP REQUESTED: Unresponsive woman found in motel

ALBANY, Dougherty County, Georgia – On Friday afternoon, April 25, 2025, Albany Police responded to the King’s Inn motel located at 1201 Schley Avenue in Albany, Georgia, following a report of an unresponsive individual. Upon arrival around 1 p.m., officers discovered the body of 36-year-old Whitney Nolasco-Gomez of Lawrenceville, Georgia, who had been found deceased by a friend

According to the Albany Police Department, there were no immediate signs of foul play. However, due to the circumstances under which Nolasco-Gomez was found, authorities suspect a possible overdose as the cause of death. An official autopsy is pending to confirm the exact cause.
