Four U.S. Elected Officials Visit Valdosta and Ray City

RAY CITY & VALDOSTA, Berrien and Lowndes Counties, Georgia – Four U.S. currently or previously elected officials visited this region following the effects of Hurricane Helene.
U.S. President Joe Biden, former U.S. President Donald Trump, Governor Brian Kemp, and U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff all toured the area learning first-hand about the devastation and problems which occurred because of Hurricane Helene’s passage through South Georgia as a Category 4 hurricane.
Trump, Kemp and Ossoff toured the Valdosta and Lowndes County areas. Biden arrived at Moody Air Force Base and toured Shiloh Pecan Farms, Inc. outside of Ray City, Berrien County.
All four men traveled to region separately and on different days and times. Each conveyed messages regarding recovery efforts in the Valdosta and Ray City areas.
