Lakeland-Lanier Fire Department Report for June 17, 2024
June 10th – Call to a roadside fire on Highway-221 South. Arrived to find it was a debris fire in a construction zone.
June 12th – Call to a car fire at the Tri-county E911 Center. First officer on scene canceled the call before units arrived.
June 14th – Call to an auto accident on Good Hope Road about 8:00 a.m.. Arrived to find a vehicle left the roadway and struck a power pole. The driver was not injured and firemen stayed on scene until the vehicle could be removed from the broken pole. Driver walked away with minor injuries. Cause has not been released.
June 16th – Call to an alarm at the Lanier County Elementary School, but was canceled before units could respond.
