VLPRA Football & Cheer Registration Now Open!
Get ready for another exciting season with VLPRA Youth Football & Cheerleading! Registration is now open for boys and girls across Lowndes County and Valdosta… but don’t wait, the registration deadline is June 23.
VLPRA’s Football & Cheerleading Program is school-based, meaning participants are assigned to teams based on the middle school they will attend. Children will represent programs such as the Vikings, Wildcats, Valiants, and more. Practices are held within each school district to help keep travel convenient for families, while games are played throughout the city and county, including local high school stadiums.
Program Offerings & Fees
- Cheerleading (Girls K-5th Grade): $80
- Boys Flag Football (K-8th Grade): $85
- Girls Flag Football (K-8th Grade): $85
- Tackle Football (Boys 2nd-5th Grade): $105
The registration fee includes:
- Football: Uniform and equipment
- Cheerleading: Uniform, pom-poms, and bloomers
Season Information
- Registration: May – June
- Practices Begin: July
- Games: August – October
- Includes regular season and playoffs
Games are typically scheduled:
- Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday evenings
- Saturday mornings and afternoons
- Sunday afternoons if necessary
