The program will be held at the Worthy Warehouse, 108 West Thigpen Avenue, Lakeland, Georgia.
The presentation will be done by “Wits’ End Resources, whose mission is “to serve God by providing a supportive environment for the empowerment of women recovering from life controlling issues.”
Wits’ End Resources is for “When something’s gotta change” for someone. According to information provided by EMC:
“Families and significant relationships who set firm boundaries – such as limiting financial assistance, requiring treatment, or establishing no-drug-use zones – often help addicts recognize their issues sooner. Studies suggest that setting boundaries leads to greater accountability and increases the likelihood of individuals seeking and completing treatment. Boundaries also reduce the chances of enabling and toxic interactions, which can hinder the recovery process.”
“Tough love is a legitimate form of wanting the best for those you care about and what feels harsh to you will actually be respected in the long haul.”
Wits’ End Resources works to empower people to recover from life controlling issues such as addiction, mental illness, trauma and abuse, and codependency.
