PLEASE HELP POLICE: 2021 Quitman Man’s Death

QUITMAN, Brooks County, Georgia – A Quitman man’s 2021 death continues to be investigated. The public’s help is requested. According to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) Lynn Brown (56) was last seen alive on the evening of Sept. 22, 2021.
Nothing about the man’s death for immediately known in 2021. As a result, the GBI Thomasville Field Office as well as the Quitman Police Department (QPD) have requested the public’s help. They would appreciate any information related to the 2021 death of Lynn Brown, Quitman.
The GBI has reported that on Sept. 23, 2021 Lynn Brown (56) was found dead near the intersection of West Crawford Street and South Warren Street in Quitman. He was last seen alive on the evening of Sept. 22, 2021.
The QPD describe Brown as a longtime Quitman resident. Brown was known to have worked a variety of jobs in and around the city. Brown was known to transport himself on a bicycle or a lawnmower.
