Neighborhood Development Manager Has Successfully Filed for Valdosta Ethics Board Investigation

VALDOSTA, LOWNDES COUNTY, Georgia – Information is slowly coming forward about a Tuesday, May 21st complaint filed against Valdosta City Councilwoman Vivian Miller Cody. The complaint was filed by the Neighborhood Development Manager Anetra Riley.
Riley has indicated that Cody has created a hostile work environment, been involved in kickbacks and indicates there has been misappropriation of federal funds.
The Ethics Board met on Thursday, July 11th. It is made up of Chairman Roy Copeland, and members Alvin Payton and JD Rice. They have indicated that Riley has provided enough information
The Ethics Board is charged with the responsibility to take statements, review evidence then render their opinion and recommendation.
