81st Annual Georgia NAACP State Convention and Civil Rights Conference

Atlanta – The largest NAACP State Conference in the nation is proud to announce the 81st Annual Georgia State Conference of the NAACP Convention and Civil Rights Conference. This is the first non-virtual conference since COVID-19. We will be joined by some of the most influential speakers in Civil Rights, such as Reverend Lee Franklin, National NAACP Training Director Terra Foster, Reverend Nelson B. Rivers, III., and Professor Cornell Brooks.

This year, we will focus on building strong leaders in Social Justice, Health Equity, Housing Advocacy, and the strategy to get the vote out during the 2024 Presidential Election. Not only is Georgia the largest NAACP State Conference, but at this moment, there are more local branches in compliance than ever before.

“Some will tell you that we’ve done the impossible in the last year and a half, but I’m here to tell you that we are far from finished. That promise will be completed because of the work that we will continue at this conference. We have National, State, and Local leaders within this organization who will be present to continue to motivate our committed members and train them to reach the expectations set by our community. Let’s continue to Thrive, Georgia!” said Attorney Gerald Griggs, the President of the Georgia State Conference of the NAACP.
