Desperate Shootout on Unity Church Road Hospitalizes Home Invader

LANIER COUNTY, Georgia – Wednesday, July 22nd was a typical hot Lanier County summer day, until a lone gunman, traveling north through Lanier County, decided to enter two homes near Unity Church Rd. just after 12:00 p.m., noon. An unknown armed white male, who some have described as ‘crazed’, entered one Lanier County residents home and that resident wound up with a head injury and has been hospitalized. It is unknown what was asked of that person and how he was injured.
