LAKELAND, GEORGIA – In the unofficial General Primary Election on June 9th, it appears that the biggest change was Randy Sirman’s win over incumbent Mitchell Chason for the Lanier County School Board Chairman position. Sirmans recieved 685 votes to Chason’s 474 votes with a total of 1,159 votes cast. Since there was no Democratic candidate, Sirmans will not compete again in another election.
