As Georgia Announces Record Low COVID-19 Hospitalizations, Lanier County’s Positive Testing Increases by 4+

LAKELAND, GEORGIA – Governor Brian P. Kemp has announced Georgia has tested 59.7% of all nursing home residents, in addition to reporting a new low in COVID-19 positive patients currently hospitalized.  Locally, the Lanier County News learned that when Lakeland Villa tested a few weeks ago, staff thought they might have four cases and it was only one positive case.  Luckily, our area’s health professionals have done a great job managing positive cases, helping to limit the spread of the COVID-19.
