Supt Watson Sends Home Letters about COVID-19 Virus
Today, the Georgia Department of Education responded positively to Fulton County School’s (state’s fourth largest school district) closure due to a staff person testing positive for the COVID-19 virus. This week, Lanier County Schools Superintendet Anita Watson sent home a related letter (see https://www.laniercountynewsonline.com/2020/03/10/lcs-supt-watsons…r-about-covid-19/ ).
Watson stated, “In an effort to keep student safety as a focus, we want to share some baic information about the coroavirus. The overall risk of COVID-19 to the general public remains low in Georgia.”
