Just Opened: 37 & Main
By Carol A. Gasser Moore |
Downtown Lakeland has a new spot to pull up a chair. 37 & Main has opened its doors at 37 W Main St, bringing fresh energy to a Main Street storefront and a menu centered on Cajun favorites and classic comfort dishes—the kind of plates made for lingering with friends and family.
Opening daywais Saturday, Aug. 30, with hours from 10:30 a.m.–9:30 p.m. The team says they’re in “opening week” mode—fine-tuning staffing, pacing, and menu items—so expect a few tweaks as they settle in. Keep an eye on the front-door signage for daily updates and specials while social pages get up and running.
Last Saturday in order to kick things off, 37 & Main added a little extra fun: the first 10 customers on opening day received a free treat with their meal, and everyone who stopped by could drop a name in the bucket for a prize drawing—free T-shirts, cups, and a big gift basket were up for grabs.
The space aims for cozy, small-town comfort—think an easy place to pop in after the game or for a weekend lunch—with a menu designed to offer “a little something for everyone.” Early visitors can expect approachable classics alongside those Cajun notes, with the kitchen planning to test-drive favorites and gather community feedback as they go.
As Lakeland continues to grow its downtown dining options, 37 & Main adds another reason to stroll Main Street. If you visit, help the new crew by sharing patient opening-week vibes and your honest feedback—they’re listening.
