Update – Landarious Wyche Arrested

On March 20, 2023 at 4:00pm, Landarious Wyche was driving on Jones St. when he was witnessed by a Thomasville Police Officer not wearing his seatbelt.  The officer began to turn around and attempt to conduct a traffic stop, but before he could get the patrol car turned around, the offender sped off in a very high rate of speed, creating a two (2) to three (3) city block distance from the officer’s vehicle.  Wyche continued to flee in the vehicle while running two (2) stop signs.  Wyche then entered the 400 block of Jones Street where several small children were present.  Wyche lost control of his vehicle, exited the roadway, crashed through several front yards, crashed through the front portion of a residence, and then rolled his vehicle before coming to a stop in the next door neighbor’s yard.  Wyche then was able to get out of the vehicle and run from the scene, all before the officer was even able to catch up to the scene of the wreck.

Wyche is currently wanted for the following offenses:
Felony Fleeing and Attempting to Elude
Felony Criminal Damage to Property
Reckless Conduct (3 Counts)
Cruelty to Children (2 Counts)
Reckless Driving
Too fast for conditions
Failure to maintain lane
Leaving the scene of an accident
Failure to stop at a stop sign (2 counts)
No Seatbelt
