Jean Hall Quitman, GA 1939 – 2023
Mrs. Norma Jean McCracken Hall, 84 of Quitman passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023 at the Presbyterian Home Quitman. Mrs. Hall was born January 27, 1939 to the late Fred and Juanita Lehr McCracken. She was a member of Philadelphia Baptist Church and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and needlepoint.
Survivors include her husband of 65 years, Larry Wayne “Buck” Hall; son, Larry Wayne (Sheryl) Hall, Jr of Moultrie; grandchildren, Michael (Sandra) Richter, Becky (Josh) Morris, Brett (Kelsey) Hall, Faith (Billy) Johnston, HayLeigh Hall, Jeffery Hall, Amanda Duffy, Jason (Erin) Richter; great grandchildren, Sarah Hall, Kayla Richter, Wyatt Williams, and Brynlee Williams; sister-in-law, Janice McCracken; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her son, William Allen Hall; brother, David Jerome McCracken; sister, Nancy (Rollins) Godwin.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Maxwell – Purvis Funeral Home with Rev. Tommy Bussey officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. The family will be receiving friends Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Maxwell – Purvis Funeral Home.
