FBI pushing for arrest of Jeriod Price (ties to Georgia), reward now $60,000
RICHLAND COUNTY, S.C. (WACH) — The FBI Columbia Field Office has announced a reward for information leading to the arrest of Jeriod Price.
The FBI is offering $30,000 for information leading to Price’s arrest.
This reward is separate from the other rewards being offered by local law enforcement agencies, according to officials.
South Carolina Law Enforcement Division offering $25,000 and Richland County Sheriff’s Department offering $5,000.
A federal arrest warrant was issued for Price on June 7 in the U.S. District Court of South Carolina for unlawful flight to avoid prosecution.
The warrant was a response to a South Carolina bench warrant being issued in April after price was release early in a 35-year sentence for murder.
Before his release, Price was serving time at a New Mexico prison.
Price’s location is currently unknow by law enforcement.
