Public Notice from Chief Slusher (L.A. Day)

As L.A.Day approaches this coming Saturday June 17, Chief Slusher and Lakeland Police Officers would like to remind everyone about safety concerns.

As we have learned from years past people from all over will be in attendance which means there will be over crowding in certain areas. We want everyone to have a good time, however safety is our main concern. ATV’s and all other off-road vehicles will not be tolerated and are subject to be impounded at the owner’s expense if found to be driven on city streets or roadways.

Again safety is top priority and we appreciate everyone’s cooperation during this event
