Michael Crandler Husbands Ray City, GA 1967 – 2023
Michael Crandler Husbands, age 55, of Ray City, Georgia passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born on June 28, 1967, in Asmara, Eritrea, Ethiopia to William Freddie Husbands and Emily Powell Blalock. Michael was a self-employed mechanic that enjoyed fishing. He had deep love for his dogs, past and present. Along with his father, he is preceded in death by his son, Johnathan Husbands; brother, William Fred Husbands, II: maternal grandparents, Robert and Cecile Powell and Fred and Roseva Husbands.
Survivors include: mother, Emily Blalock (Edwin); wife, Lillian Husbands; son, Thomas Hart (Chance Smith); step daughter, Brittany Justiss; step son, Aaron Walsh; grandchildren: Hayden Hart, Laila Hart and Rain Justiss; special sister-in-love, Peggy Brenner; niece, Amberle Husbands; nephew, Matthew Husbands; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Riverview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 1, 2023 at the cemetery.
