Quention McFadden Stockton, GA 1933 – 2023

Quention McFadden was born to the late Johnny McFadden and Maggie McFadden on November 30 1933 in Stockton Georgia.

Quention grew up on the farm and enjoyed planting, plowing, and mowing with his tractors. His love of farming was equal only to his love of supervising his sons farming and enjoying the care and devotion of his daughters.

The Lord granted Quention eternal rest on Sunday, March 26 2023.

In addition to his parents Quention was proceeded in death by his wife Claretha (Houston) McFadden; his grandparents Dawson McFadden and Florence McFadden; brothers Samuel McFadden and Johnny McFadden; sisters Idela McFadden, Ora Lee McFadden, Betty Ruth McFadden, and Hester McFadden

Quention leaves to cherish his memories his children: Mrs. Sheena M. Perry (Bernard) of Lake Park GA, Mr. Quention McFadden Jr. (Barbara) of Middletown MD, Mr. Johnny S. McFadden (Maggie) of San Antonio, TX, Ms. Ann McFadden of Lakeland GA, Mr. Reginald B. McFadden (Debbie) of Winston GA, sister-in-law Mrs. Vernell Carter of St Petersburg FL, brother-in-law Mr. Grady Houston of Jacksonville FL, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild; niece Ms. Margret Miller, special cousins Mr. Henry L. Brown and Mr. Lewis Houston, the Jenkins family, and a host of cousins and friends.

Home going service for Mr. Quention McFadden, Sr. will be held on Saturday, April 1 at 11:00 A.M. at New Bryant Missionary Baptist Church and Rev. Sirmans is the pastor, and Dr. W. C. Morgan will officiate. Burial will follow in the Charles Knight Cemetery.
