Thomas “Tommy” Allen Valdosta, GA 1951 -2023

Thomas “Tommy” Franklin Allen, age 71 of Valdosta, Georgia passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family. Tommy was born on November 25, 1951 in Valdosta, Georgia to the late Matheline Collins Allen and Willie Thomas Allen. Mr. Allen retired as a Division Manager with Standlee Hay. He was a loving husband, daddy, granddaddy and brother. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding his tractor, and always like to make people laugh. He loved to spend time with “The Love of his Life” Peggie Bennett Allen. He was always kind and like to pick at folks. He never met a stranger. In addition to his parents; he is preceded in death by his step-father, James Henry Stith, two sisters, Marsha Kay Mann and Connie Sue Stith.

Survivors include his loving wife of forty-seven years, Peggie B. Allen of Valdosta, Georgia, his children and their spouses, Clint Allen and wife Terrie of Fitzgerald, Georgia, Derek Allen and wife Betsy of Valdosta, Georgia and Cole Allen and wife Meagan of Evans, Georgia; ten grandchildren: Karsen (Chandler), Kelsey, Mallory, Dustin, Jarrett, Thomas, Tate, Gentry, Bryson and Dawson; two brothers, James (Stinker) Stith and wife Roxie, Randy Stith and wife Rachelle all of Stockton, Georgia; two sisters, Patsy Bennett and Cindy Johnson both of Stockton, Georgia.

A Celebration of Life Service for Thomas “Tommy” Franklin Allen will be held at 2 o’clock pm, Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Music Funeral Services Valdosta Chapel. The family will be receiving friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
