Valentine’s Day (and Life) is Better with a Dog!

LANIER COUNTY, Georgia – The Lanier County Animal Control Shelter has one of the lowest kill rates in our regional area. According to Jessica Ganas, Lanier County’s Animal Control Officer,  our local shelter has over 90% (percent) of the dogs taken in by the Lanier County Animal Control Department wind up being placed with loving families and individuals whose goal is to share their lives with their adopted pets. In fact, people are coming to the Lanier County Animal Control Shelter from not only a regional county area, but from out of state to adopt the animals that come into care through our local animal control shelter.
