Lanier Students Demonstrate an Aptitude and Love of Math

VALDOSTA, Georgia – Lanier County High School students led by LCHS math teacher Margo Montgomery experienced their developing love for math. They just returned from the Valdosta State University (VSU) 25th Sonia Kovalevsky High School Mathematics Day. The day was co-directed by Dr. Dense Reid and Dr. Sandy Trowell, both professors in the VSU Department of Mathematics. Drs. Reid and Trowell were excited to be allowed to continue the tradition this year. The annual event had not been held in-person since 2019.
