August City Council Meeting Brings a Street Closing, a Lightening Strike and a Revelation

LAKELAND, Georgia – After a vote which failed to approve the Beer, Wine and Liquor license to be consumed off premises at the August Lakeland City Council meeting, the city had two other major discussions during its meeting this week, along with a revelation. Mayor Pro Temp Otis Calhoun presided over the August Lakeland City Council Meeting in the absence of Mayor Bill Darsey. Also present were Councilmen Kellie McCrae, Greg Sealey, Grace Mack, and Johnny Reynolds.
