Terry Lawson Smith 1948-2021

Terry Lawson Smith, age 73, of Stockton, Georgia, died, Friday, July 23, 2021 at The Fellowship Home, Berrien Campus. Terry was born on May 15, 1948 in Thomasville, Georgia to the late Mamie Maude Bennett and William Franklin Smith. Terry was a carpenter and enjoy building and remodeling things. He was a loving dad, granddad, great-granddad. He never met a stranger and enjoyed visiting with friends and family and riding the dirt roads. Terry was in Vietnam while serving his country honorably in the United States Army. Terry was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, Peggy Smith Merkie.

Survivors includes his three sons: Jason Smith and wife Anita of Stockton, Georgia, Hank Smith and wife Holly of Adel, Georgia and Clint Smith and wife Sandra of Stockton, Georgia; nine grandchildren, Chelsea, Jason, Paige, Taylin, Hannah, Madisyn, Daniele, Merritt and Chase; six great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jerry Smith and wife Ellen of Phoenix, Arizona and Perry Smith and wife Jean of Huntsville, Alabama; a special cousin, Diane Hightower of Sparks, Georgia, an uncle Ronnie Smith and wife Judy of Atlanta, Georgia.
Graveside Memorial Rites will be Monday, July 26, 2021 at 3:00 O’clock P.M. at Woodlawn City Cemetery in Adel, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends from 10:00 A.M. until 12:00 Noon, Monday, July 26, 2021 at Music Funeral Services, Lakeland.
