Georgia DNR Education and Outreach: Three New Posters and a Workbook Now Available

GEORGIA – Teachers, students, tackle shops, marinas, parks, community recreation areas and others across the state are invited to check out three (3) new posters and a workbook recently completed by Georgia DNR Wildlife Resources Division (WRD).

  • Recreational Freshwater Fishes of Georgia Poster: An attractive and quick ID reference for freshwater fishes commonly caught by anglers in Georgia. Poster Size 16″w x 20″h
  • Wanted Aquatic Invaders Poster: An “Old West” themed poster displaying a few of the worst invaders of Georgia and the Southeastern U.S. This poster briefly explains why they are a threat and how you can help. Poster Size 18″w x 24″h
  • Don’t Move These Poster: When you care about native freshwater fish, you won’t move in species that can damage those populations. Poster Size 18″w x 24″h
  • Aquatic Nuisance Species Workbook: This 12-page workbook helps educate students and others about aquatic nuisance species.

HOW CAN I GET ONE?

Available for Pickup: These free posters and the workbook are available for pickup from any WRD Fisheries region office, most WRD Education Centers (call first), Public Fishing Area offices, and the WRD Headquarters Office.

Electronic Copies: Each item is available to view and print from the WRD website HERE (note: scroll to bottom of linked page).
