Very Little Post 1 City Council Candidate Information Available

LAKELAND, Georgia – With eight candidates for the City Council Post 1 vacancy, only two have been very forthcoming with information about themselves. Candidates whose names appear on the general election ballot include:
- Valentino M. Brockington (LCS Police Officer)
- Betty Brown (Private Sitter, former LCS Crossing Guard)
- Louis R. Chester (Retired Educator, Farmer and Public Health Environmentalist)
- Michael James “Jaime” Gibbons (Southeast Credit Union Banker)
- John W. Pruitt (Retired)
- Johnny B. Reynolds Jr. (Affinity Building Inc. Employee)
- John H. “Sandy” Sander (Retired Journalist, Part-time Development Authority Director)
- Delbert S. Zirkle (Retired U.S. Air Force)
