LANIER COUNTY, GEORGIA – Anyone connected to the Code Red Warning System or County’s siren system had no question about what was going on in Lakeland and Lanier County just after lunch Thursday, April 23rd. Phones were repeatedly busy dialing area residents and the siren system was going off at the same time. Everyone was clear that our region was having a “weather moment” in simple terms. In technical terms, once again Lanier County was visited by high winds and a tornado!
