The Conversion of Lanier County’s John Crowley’s Great Grandmother’s account of her conversion from The Signs of the Times 44:7, 1 APR 1876, 79-80.  The Signs of the Times was devoted exclusively to the Baptist Cause

 

Part 1

 

Esther C. Redding lived on what is now Allen Road in Lanier County until her death in 1881. She mentions elder T.W. Stallings, who was her brother-in-law and pastor of Union Church 1873-1888. Although her membership was at Cat Creek Church, she attended Union and is buried there with the infant she died giving birth.
