Georgia DNR: Check out the latest trout stocking report!
The Georgia DNR Wildlife Resources Division (Fisheries Management Section) and the U.S. Fish & Wildlife Service stock streams with trout for anglers to enjoy.
The number of trout stocked and the stocking frequency depend on a stream’s fishing pressure, accessibility, and water conditions. View our weekly stocking report to see the most current stocking list!

Was just curious why there hasnt been any stocking since 12/20/19. I know last year they stocked windfield scott lake and vogel lake and it was very fun to take the kids to a lake and catch trout because its a lot easier on a kid in a lake than river. Was just wondering if there was gona be any early season stocking this year as well?
The Lanier County News is checking for a response to your question from DNR. In the meantime, the LCN has placed additional information on trout stocking under “news” and under “research documents” for your information!
Good question. Let’s see what we can find out.
Hopefully they will issue a 2020 restocking calendar soon so you’ll be able to take the little ones fishing. 👍
When will we see a report for this month?
More complete information is available on the Lanier County News website under “news” and under “research documents”.
I was at Vogel last Christmas Eve and caught over 35 trout and was all alone in a relatively comfortable climate
great tip! Congratulations on a successful fishing excursion! If you have any other tips, please let me know.
