Life Celebration of Phyllis Nix Harper
Nashville – Phyllis (Nix) Harper (1946-2019) died surrounded by her loved ones on December 9, 2019 at her home in Nashville, GA. Phyllis was born in Berrien County to Glendon and Mary Ford Nix. She was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Church in Atkinson County, GA.
She was the proud mother of her Son, Brian and Garna Giddens and her Daughter, Cindy Giddens. She was the grandmother of Jarrett Giddens and Chelsey Mathis and Great Grandmother of Jayden and Jayda Glaze.
In her final years, she cared for and was cared for by her older Sister, Vivian Hendley Bradford, whom she dearly loved and who dearly loved her. In addition to her sister Vivian, Phyllis was dearly loved by her oldest sister, Wylene Richardson and her big brother Bobby Glyn Nix and his wife Gail. In addition to her children, grandchildren, and siblings, she is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
As per her wishes, she will be cremated and laid to rest between her parents at Poplar Springs Church Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to Poplar Springs Church for a memorial service Thursday, December 12, 2019 at 3:30 PM. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church.

Nashville, GA 31639), or Hospice of South Georgia (2263 Pineview Dr, Valdosta, GA 31602). The family is being served by the caring and professional staff of Music Funeral Services, Lakeland.
