Lanier County Board of Elections is Sporting a New Election Supervisor

Lakeland – Josh Black is one of the newest faces gracing the Lanier County Courthouse, since he was hired by the Lanier County Board of Elections recently.  In August, the Lanier County Board of Elections resigned in mass along with Black’s predecessor, Sherry Griffin.  The office was left closed for a short time as Governor Brian Kemp sent a directive, and a Grand Jury had to convene after taking applications for the board.  Once the newly installed Lanier County Board of Elections was installed, they in turn had no initiate a search for a new Election Supervisor, interview and approve hiring.
